How stupid....!!!!! / We're opening up a can of "you-know-what".

Have you ever uttered the phrase... "How stupid is that person?!?!" Well....allow me to tell you how stupid I am. We just signed Chayse (7) & Haiden (9) up for legitimate "beat the crap out of one another classes"......& it was ALLLLL my idea. Here's the description in the community publication. "Aikido....is a non-competitive traditional Japanese martial art. Students work in partners or small groups taking advantage of a nurturing yet challenging learning environment. Advancement is through a colored belt ranking system beginning with yellow belt, moving toward black belt. Course objectives include; demonstrating respect, having good manners, showing discipline and having fun." TRANSLATION.... Bring your can opener.....'cuz we're gonna teach ya how ta open up a can of....well.....you-know-what....on your siblings. They will not be in the same class (thank goodness), but because they are both beginners they will likely be learning the same things at the same time. Please believe it was the "demonstrating respect, having good manners & showing discipline" is was caught my attention & what I am trying to achieve. Wish us luck & feel free to donate to our boy's funeral fund. I'm investing in a whistle & a black & white striped shirt.....I'll probably need a helmet too right?!

1.....That's crazy!!!!

So, my baby boy turned 1 on Saturday. I can't even believe how quickly this year has gone by. He's such a busy, curious little mcnasty. He has a pretty intense personality. He was slow to giggle, but when he finally did; it was soooo worth it. He frequently cries so hard that he passes out for a second or two. (It's scary). He was also slow to crawl.....though that wouldn't stop him....he rolled like a ball. He's going now. We totally thought that he would skip crawling & go straight to walking. He has always been the kind of baby that when we pulled him up from laying; he would lock his knees & wanted to be right up on his feet. He has only been crawling for about 3 weeks, & has been pulling himself up to the furniture & steppin' along for about 2 1/2 weeks. His brothers still really like him, but he's not quite getting into their stuff....YET!!! Anyway...Happy Birthday Slader!!!

Please refer to my last post. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Apparently, what we all learned about math can be thrown out the window. 1 + 1 (normally) = 2. 1 + 1 (has also been known to) = 3. BUT They're having TWINS!!!!...which means.... 1 + 1 (NOW) = 4. We are so excited (& a little nervous) for you David & Marysol.

THEY...are having a baby

Sooooo........It's officially out so I can express my excitement. Our fantastic friends, Marysol & David, are Having a Baby. They are due in early July....on the very day of their 6th Anniversary. Monty thought it was weird when I counted back weeks from their due date to figure out exactly how far along she is. Pffff....I'll only admit to being mildly stalker-esk. They were very excited to tell us when we showed up in our old ward (just for the heck of it) at the beginning of the month. If we hadn't have been in the chapel when David blurted it out; I would have screamed with excitement. It has been interesting seeing guys & girls that were early teens when we moved here; turn into husbands & wives & now turning into Daddies & Mommies SIDE-BAR..... I have to admit tho...I think that we may have lost our babysitters. They are soooooo great with our boys....The boys really love them. I did mention that to David & he said... "Oh no..we'd just bring the baby with us." That's noble...we'll see. We love you Mommy & Daddy!!!!! We are crazy excited for you. As my Dad said when we anounced that we were expecting Haiden.... "It's about bloody time."

It's a Girl.....FINALLY!!

No.....I did not have a baby & I'm not pregnant....& besides, the way that numbers go we would end up with a 5th boy (not that there's anything wrong with that). A little background.... We had our 12 1/2 year old Chocolate Point Siamese boy, Denver, put down back in June. We had had him since he was 3 months old. We have been missing him like crazy. We have found ourselves saying things like, "Denver would have loved that." So we figured it was time to get a new baby. I started a hunt for a new Siamese in the city or a breeder within the province. My sister down in Lethbridge called me at the beginning of the week & told me that there was an ad in the paper for Siamese kittens. I sent her on recon to check them out. She did & sent me some pictures of a few of the 10 babies (2 litters). So we drove down to "Poedunk" aka Welling & selected a new baby. We were not pre-set on male or female. We were planning to make our decision on personality & cutieness. Well....It's a Girl....Finally!!!! She is 9 1/2 weeks old. Both of her parents are Seal Point Siamese so she could either end up being Seal Point or the lighter Chocolate Point. She's really cute...but not as pretty as our boy, Denver, was when we got him. We messed around with name spellings for a female (if that's what we ended up getting). Her name is "Seaehty". That is pronounced Cee Eh Tee (C. A. T.) She has been surprisingly good. She is an under the bed bare toe attacker & a you can't move your hands or feet in bed for the first 10 or 15 minutes diver. The boys have been really good with her...including Slade, who is only 10 months old. She sometimes goes right behind him (where he can reach her) & kicks him in the diaper. He franticly turns from one side to the other trying to get her to stop. Anyway...for those of you who though I got a girl piranha....{cough cough Tiff & Karrie}....now you know.
